Step 1:

Whisk cocoa powder into melted butter.

This "blooms" the cocoa powder making the cookies ultra rich and chocolatey!

Step 2:

Blend in brown sugar.

Step 3:

Add in egg, egg yolk, and vanilla. Blend.

Step 4:

Blend in dry ingredients.

Step 5:

Then add chocolate chips!

Step 6:

Portion dough into 1 tablespoon size balls.

Pro-Tip! Press extra chocolate chips into the cookies before baking for picture perfect cookies!

Step 7:

Bake cookies, but don't overbake for chewy cookies!
