  • 3-4 avocados
  • 1-2 small limes freshly squeezed, 3-4 Tablespoons juice
  • 1 jalapeno, finely diced seeds removed
  • 1/4 cup cilantro chopped
  • 1/4 cup onion, diced or 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 clove garlic or 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin


  1. Mash the avocado together with the juice of one lime.

  2. Add in the jalapeño, cilantro, onion, garlic, and spices. Stir to combine and taste.  Add in the juice of second lime if desired.  Refrigerate until serving.

Recipe Notes

Store leftover guacamole in airtight container with plastic wrap pressed directly on top of the guacamole.
