    The administrators of Wheat by the Wayside seek to create a welcome environment in the comment section. The comment section should be used for recipe questions and critiques, not to vent anger or frustrations.

    Comment Moderation

    To best serve our readers and be notified of questions, comments will be moderated before they are published. This means that your comment will not be immediately published and may take up to 24 hours or more to appear live on the site.

    Wheat by the Wayside welcomes all respectful, friendly, constructive, and on-topic comments or questions.

    The administrator will remove without notice, comments deemed by the administrator to be offensive, inappropriate, generally rude, unhelpful, misleading, factually inaccurate, or spam.

    Troubleshooting

    If you had trouble with a recipe, please be mindful that variations in ingredients, ovens, altitude, humidity, and many other factors can affect the outcome of a recipe and it may not always be the fault of the recipe itself.

    Ensure you have followed all steps laid out by the author without any substitutions or changes. Especially with gluten-free flour blends, use the recommended flour listed for the best results.

    When commenting it is helpful for the admin to have as much information as possible as to what went wrong, so they can help you to the best of their ability. Please include what went wrong, any substitutions you made, and what the outcome was.

    A.I. Policy

    This website does not use A.I. (artificial intelligence) to create recipes or images.

    Recipe photos are edited to adjust for lighting and color accuracy, not to mislead the reader in any way. There are no A.I. (artificial intelligence) photos on this site, all images are made by humans with a digital camera in a real kitchen with real food.

    All recipes are created from scratch by the author. Recipes are tested multiple times before publishing and the pictures represent the author's actual experience when making the recipe. The author takes great care and pride in recipe creation.
