Katie's Recipe Notes
If you've ever been curious about the Starbucks Iced Oatmilk Lavender Latte, I'm here to help you out.
You may know I have a penchant for making Starbucks copycat recipes. When I saw this unique offering on the menu, I knew I had to give it a try.
This is definitely a 'hit or miss' type of drink, you'll either love it or hate it. While it's not overly sweet, it is very floral. Even still, it's rather light and refreshing. I really loved it with a splash of sparkling mineral water.
Ingredients For Iced Lavender Latte

The base of this drink is the same as any other latte, espresso, your choice of milk, and ice, plus a good lavender syrup to bring in that signature flavor. I use my homemade lavender syrup, which has a subtle lavender taste that's not overpowering. It's made with culinary lavender buds, sugar, and water.
Starbucks uses a lavender powder for their latte, but I find my syrup offers a more balanced flavor.
To make your drink as close to the Starbucks iced lavender oatmilk latte at home use extra creamy oat milk and blonde espresso roast if you have it. Almond milk would be a good substitute.

Homemade Lavender Syrup (Just 3 Ingredients!)
This simple syrup is the key to that soft floral note. All you need is water, sugar, and dried culinary lavender.
How to Make an Iced Lavender Latte

- Step 1: Brew a double shot of espresso. Using freshly brewed espresso is always best.

- Step 2: Add ice to a tall glass, then add your lavender syrup.

- Step 3: Pour the espresso directly over the ice in your glass. The ice will melt a bit and cool the espresso.

- Step 4: Add your milk, and more ice if desired. Stir to combine and enjoy!

Recipe FAQs
Yes! You can use strongly brewed coffee or cold brew instead. It won't be quite as bold, but it still tastes great, especially with the lavender syrup.
Absolutely. If you don't want to make your own, a store-bought version works fine. Taste and adjust the amount of syrup, since sweetness and strength can vary.
