Christmas dinner should be special for everyone at your table, and gluten-free cooking doesn't have to change that! To make it easy, I've gathered all my best holiday recipes in one place so you can plan a gluten-free menu with ease! Find impressive mains, comforting sides, bakery-worthy breads, party-ready appetizers, cozy soups, and vibrant salads.
Whether you're newly gluten-free or a seasoned pro, these recipes will help you create a Christmas dinner everyone will love! No one will miss the gluten, I promise!

Main Dishes
Many people traditionally serve prime rib, turkey, or ham as a main course for their Christmas or Christmas Eve dinners. The great thing is that most store-bought meats are naturally gluten-free. Where you can run into gluten is in the seasonings, gravy, and glazes.
For that check labels and avoid wheat, barley, rye, oats, malt, and soy sauce. If you need it, I have recipes for gluten-free au jus and gluten-free gravy, because most store-bought versions do contain gluten.
If you're smoking a turkey, you must try my gluten-free bbq spice rub-it's SO good on turkey!

Gluten-Free Christmas Dinner FAQ's
Always read labels carefully! Look for a "gluten-free" label or certification, and check the ingredient list for wheat, barley, rye, malt, oats, and soy sauce.
Yes! Plain prime rib is naturally gluten-free. Just watch out for pre-made rubs, marinades, or au jus mixes, which often contain gluten. Use my gluten-free au jus recipe instead of store-bought packets.
It depends on the brand and how it's prepared. While honey itself is gluten-free, honey hams often contain glazes, seasonings, or flavorings that may include gluten. Some brands add malt, soy sauce, or wheat-based thickeners to their honey glaze. Always check the label for a "gluten-free" designation or contact the manufacturer. You can always buy a plain ham, which is gluten-free, and prepare our own glaze.
Plain, fresh turkey is naturally gluten-free. However, be careful with pre-seasoned, self-basting, or injected turkeys, which can contain gluten in the seasonings or broth. Look for labels that say "gluten-free" or stick with a plain, unseasoned bird and add your own seasonings.
